The material
Brushed aluminium – the specifications
Brushed aluminium is a 1 mm aluminium sheet with a fine, directional brushed finish. The silver metal is the background of your plaque, so the background colour can’t be changed – your text, symbols and logo are printed on top in the colours you choose.
It can be cut as a rectangle, with rounded corners, as a pill shape or as an oval.

Which size is best for a door plaque?
Popular door-plaque sizes are 150 × 50 mm for a name plate and 210 × 70 mm or 300 × 100 mm for office and practice plaques. You can enter any size from 50 × 100 mm up to 600 × 600 mm.
How much does it cost?

Can I change the colour of brushed aluminium?
No – the brushed silver metal is the background, and that is what gives the plaque its look. You choose the colour of your text, symbols and logo. For a coloured background, choose aluminium composite or plastic.
How is a door plaque mounted?
Choose double-sided tape for a clean look on doors and smooth walls, pre-drilled corner holes for screws, or no mounting.
What is the difference between brushed aluminium and aluminium composite?
Our aluminium composite signs are 3 mm panels with a coloured background, made for outdoor use and sizes up to 1150 × 1500 mm. Brushed aluminium is 1 mm with a visible metal finish, chosen for its premium look on doors, offices and receptions.
Can I put my own logo on it?
