The material
3 mm aluminium composite – the specifications
Our aluminium signs are made from 3 mm aluminium composite: two thin aluminium sheets bonded to a solid core, with a coloured finish on the face. That keeps the sign flat, rigid and weather-resistant while staying light enough to mount easily. Your text, symbols and logo are printed in full colour on top.
Aluminium composite is cut as a straight rectangle, which gives clean, sturdy edges for outdoor mounting.

Can aluminium signs be used outdoors?
Yes. Aluminium composite is our most durable material: the 3 mm panel is rigid, UV-resistant and made for signs that are exposed to the weather all year round.
What is aluminium composite – is it the same as Dibond?
Aluminium composite is a sandwich panel: two thin aluminium sheets bonded to a solid core. Dibond® is a well-known brand name for this type of panel. It is stiffer and flatter than a single aluminium sheet of the same weight, which is why it is the standard material for durable outdoor signs.
How much does it cost?

What sizes can I order?
Any size from 100 × 100 mm up to 1150 × 1500 mm, entered in millimetres. Popular formats are 300 × 100 mm, 450 × 150 mm and 300 × 200 mm.
Can I get rounded corners or a round sign?
Aluminium composite signs are cut as straight rectangles. For rounded corners, a pill shape or an oval, choose plastic, brushed aluminium or brass-look aluminium instead.
How do I mount an aluminium sign?
Choose no mounting, pre-drilled holes in the corners for screws, or double-sided tape for smooth surfaces. You pick the mounting in the editor and see the price before you order.
Can I put my own logo on it?
Yes. Upload your logo in the editor, add text in the font of your choice and combine it with symbols. You see a live preview with the exact dimensions before you add it to the cart.
